So, I was driving my car yesterday with around 40 degrees outside. When I pulled my car into the garage I've noticed some kind of ticking coming from the engine so I poped the hood. I know it isn't lifter tick since I cleaned them a while back and the noise is coming from the lower timing belt area. The noise isn't as rapid as lifter tick. It ticks 1 time per three seconds or so . Dissapointed, I shut the car down. After about 30 minutes or so I turned the car back on to see if it would make the same sound but it didn't. Then I took the car out for a drive to see if the clutch would stick down at left turns but it didn't. When I got back after 5 minutes the car was ticking again. Is it time for a 6bolt?:(

Any help is appritiated:dsm:

Doesn't sound like it to me. Find exactly where the ticking is coming from. You can either use a stethiscope or put your ear on the end of a long screwdriver. Just be careful LOL.

^^^^^^^^ I guess you're right my friend. It isn't crankwalk for sure. I believe it's a pulley that needs to be replaced.
