Is buying a 2 year old turbo back exhaust a good idea?

ok so my friend is selling a full megan racing turbo back he wants 200 for it. its 2 years old. doesnt have any rust. should i get it? i am on complete stock exhaust right now. i dont want it to sound horrible since its 2 years old. i really need some advice. my option is to get that or a turbo back off ebay for around the same price. can anyone help

Are you talking about a throttle body

EDIT: your talking about a catback...

As long as there's no rust, should be ok, i dont think AGE has anything to do with how it will sound.

Yeah exhausts without cats don't change much, if at all, over time (assuming the absence of rust and physical damage) but if it has a cat then they can (especially if they are driven under extreme conditions).
