I need to get a fpr and I don't know exactly which one I want to get. I was thinking about the aeromotive a1000, but I was just looking at my options. I was wondering if anyone bought the dsmparts.com fpr. The link is at the bottom. If anyone has, is it a good one? Does it come with a kit to install? If not, what are all the things I need to install this? I was also looking at the AEM fpr. If any personal opinions on any of these would really help me. Thanks...

That is the full throttle speed AFPR. It is very good. I'm currently using it on my car and it works wonderfully. As far as things you will need to install, there is nothing, if you read it's a direct bolt on, although i would recommed using you stock fuel rail bolts b/c the ones inluded are really hard to make work. You will also, of course, need a fuel pressure gauge which will screw directly into the AFPR. If you go to importevolution.com they sell this same FPR and a gauge for it for about 6 bucks less(including shipping and gauge) than DSMparts.com. Not much of a difference but every little bit helps i guess. Hope this was what you were looking for and good luck.

I've got one, too. I can highly recommend it. You may have to file a bit off the fuel rail casting to get the adapter to fit, but other than that, it's a very easy bolt-on. I got my fuel press guage at Summit for $19.

That's a love/hate thing. People love it because it's easy as hell to install, doesn't need any lines/hoses/fittings, and it's a nice slick installation.

Others hate it because there have been reports here and there of those regulators not keeping their adjustments (blamed on engine vibration, but never confirmed) and with installation difficulties if you have 8mm or thicker spark plug wires.

I almost ordered it but I couldn't wait for the insane backlog they had about a year ago. If they took care of the problems of the regulator coming out of adjustment then you'll be very happy with it.

I have it and like it a lot.

People need to check the pressure when engine is fully warmed up, after a little drive.

I had that FPR on my car until I switched to my new setup. Still have it if anyone wants it. Pm me and I'll give you a price. Works pretty good.
