Resolved Is a Bolt supposed to be here?

Ok guys I've been messing with this car since I got it 6 months ago fixing things that I come across here and there. Well I've had a mysterious oil leak that I could not find, today I degreased my whole engine bay so I could try and find the leak then drove the car and when I popped the hood I looked in the back of my engine in the firewall area and saw wet oil all over my rear subframe and firewall then I noticed I bolt hole with no bolt in it and it looked wet. It is right above the axel cup on the back of the block right next to the oil pump case. My question is there supposed to be a bolt in this hole so that I can possibly fix my oil leak here is a pic for reference.

A tiny leak coupled with air rushing past at 30 to 80mph(or faster!) can get oil in places you wouldn't think possible.
If it really comes down to it then use the dye and rev the engine to build oil pressure. It may not leak under idle 15psi but wot at 80psi you could be pusing oil from random places.
I think you got it with the pan or the oil drain. Doubt it is the front case, at least i pray it isn't. Good luck man.
I know when this happened to me, my very first install of a 4g63 into my 2g i left the BS inspection hole wide open and had a ton of oil all over the firewall. I can clearly see that is NOT your problem though, i actually did read the whole thread haha.
