is a 93 talon fwd non turbo transmission the same as a 92 talon fwd non turbo transmi

i got a transmission from a 93 talon to put in my 92 talon fwd non turbo everything bolts up right except now the throw out bearing doesnt reach the clutch plate its about half an inch shy of reaching it are the transmissions differant or do i have another problem i did install a new clutch kit in it so everything there is new is there a wider throw out bearing i can put in to make it work

Sounds like you got something installed wrong, although it is kinda hard to do it wrong... They're basically the same tranny.

Just an idea but I remember when I took a talon transmisson and put it in my laser. The fly wheel extended out about an extra 1/2 inch on the talon. So maybe use the talons fly wheel??
