Is 16g wise?

i have 117k miles on my car boosting 18psi on stock bored out turbo. Is it safe to boost more on 16g with that many miles? if so what should i do for preventative maintenence?

check seals and gaskets. Also do a compression test. If you get the chance pick up something to log it and see how your engine actually reacts to change.

With your modifications... possibly.
If you don't have a logger yet, you need to get one. That is the only way to tell what is safe for your car and what isn't. Post up your log if you need help figuring it out.

You can run 18 psi easily, you just need to log your runs, test and tune at 15 psi first then get to 18 psi. Check your knock and EGT's.
