Hey fellow dsmer's we need to have a meet this summer i and posibly arrange for a spot in sioux city iowa. I think it would be a great thing for us to share tips tricks sell parts or help someone out with their car. So give it a yay or nay.
 
If you do it in Sioux City, let me know and I'll make it.
 
As I posted on "talk". I'll definately show up. Just name the time and place (as long as it isn't during the week, stupid summer classes). I am very new to DSM's and am looking to meet some fellow owners.
 
how is about the first or 2nd weekend in june i know the first weekend there is a mopar car show. funny thing is they ones around here are scared of the dsm's and my buddy works at the parts store where its going to be held and he said there will be about 100 cars there.. hmmmmmm teasing the v8's sounds very funny... if anyone has anymore questions pm me. In the last thread i saw that one of the vendors on here would be up for coming for some prizes and stuff ill see if i can contact them and see if they are still game.

I'll Be there I hope i have mine running again by then My buddy brian will be there aswell and we might bring a few other people that love them DSMs just like the rest of us I was just going to get on and try to organize one to for SIoux City. Let me know if you need any help with anything or need me to bring anything. Other sioux city DSMers need to meet up more often i barly see any others out besides me and brian and a couple others that never really stop and talk to me but My timing jumped and i bent 3 SS valves does anyone know if crower sells individual valves and does anyone know who has the white TSI i think he just got it recently and has an O2 dump on it. Let me know what i can do and If anyone needs any parts let me know i have alot of stuff mostly stock some aftermarkert. If anyone around here has a spare junk head laying around id like that to as long as the casting isnt bad or a tranny I would like a good one but i take junk too let me know. Chad

Well i live in morningside im know where to go and all. I just hope i can figure out all my problems by then maybe you can help me out. Problem one timing belt jumped and it was back firing out the intake and exhaust I firgured I bent some valves. So i pulled the head off and guess what they are all fine I poored water in to see if they held and sure enough no leaks i was mad at this point cause i already orderd a set of 1mm over valves haha and now I think all it could be is a bad cam sensor causing ignition to fire at all times. the next problem is when i installed my 4 bolt rear end there was a weird thunking vibration sounding like front right but comes in to early for a wheel bearing i thought. so i put in a new transfer case and drove it for awhile before the timing jumped and one launch and suddenly the car became only front wheel drive and only the left front was spinning. So Im really getting pissed and im going to try to have it at least running hopefully all the problems worked out by that weekend if anyone has any thoughts or parts that might be able to help me out like a cam sensor that would be awesome. Billys90tsi are you out alot cause noone really ever is talking about a 90 tsi with a strocker here in morningside im sure i could set you up with some races and make you some money ever ran it at the track. we ought to meet up one of these days. How old are you and how are you likeing the strocker i really wanted to do a 2.3 or 2.4 but i figured see how i can do on a 2.0 with the 16 G first.
 
my car has been under the hush for a long time i just got done putting the motor in it hasnt been out on the road yet.. hey whats ## name by the way i know a few people who live in morning side and one of them has a red gsx.
 
Ok so back to the topic its set in stone june 3rd in sioux city DSM meet pm me for more info or directions.
 
I plan on being there I gotta take off work and I'll see if I can get a couple other guys up here to travel that way. Should be fun but I need an address so I can MapQuest that stuff.
 
Ok here are the simple directions for ANYONE coming to the dsm meet june 3rd in sioux city


From north of sioux city: Take I29 south until you see the Hamilton Blvd exit take that exit and turn right when you get off and just follow the road you cant miss it .

From south of sioux city or coming off I80 or I680 take I29 north until Hamilton blvd exit take that stay to the left then turn left go under the bridge then go straight and you cant miss it..

East of Sioux city take highway 75 until you get to sioux city then take the floyd blvd exit and stay on that you will come to an ivy's liqour shamrock gas station pass that go under the bridge and drive toward the casino pass the casino and you can miss it .
 
I don't think I'll be able to make it. Maybe it it were over Memorial-Day weekend; going home twice in two weekends would hurt the checkbook. However, if any of you Sioux City guys wanna hang out over Memorial-Day, let me know.
 
The game plan is to start meeting at noon and then letting everyone get all in and chill for a while go for a quick cruise come back share tips tricks and sell some old parts if you want to then go for a night cruise this is going to be an ALL day thing so who is all coming.:rocks:

I have a group coming with me about three or four dsms maybe and what about some other cars ### my bro has a cougar his friend has a mustang and my dad has a bmw
