Basically this started after i got link. It never did it with stock 450s, though i will say i didnt drive more than 200 miles with stock fuel inectors.
I get a cyl 3 misfire code and go lean. Start pulling inj clips one by one and listening and sure enough, number 3 isnt working. Now i havent put the oscilliscope on it yet but im HOPING, like all hell im hoping, that i see no signal and its simply a wire. I sent my ecu in for socketing and he apparently went through it. Par for the course from what i understand of tom. Is it possible for the ecu to cause just one inj to fail?
Im going to wire in some new inj clips thsi weekend and see if its resolved. Just wanted some input or similar stories/fixes.
BTW, same problem on brand new pte 1000s and now flow tested and cleaned bosch 1600s on e85. Didnt matter on the injector.
The harness is trashed though and not placed correctly i believe. Doing a full tuck this fall but id like to drive it til then.
Thanks
edit: Getting powerful spark on all cylinders when code happens. It IS the injector signal. That is very important info
