I Need an armrest for my 98 Eclipse RS. Is there going to be a difference in an armrest from any of the other years 95-99?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought there was a difference from an RS to the rest of the models. RS's didn't come with a cover did they?

any armrest from a 95-99 eclipse/talon will work, considering you get your color. the vehicle trim has nothing to do with it.

I don't know about that. The years are all the same for the 2g armrest, yes. Any of them can be swapped. I wasn't saying the RS had a completely different armrest, but it doesn't have the cover. I don't know if it was related to models or if it was some extra option, but my friends RS doesn't have a cover. Looks like this:

Yea, RS' just have another cupholder, and didnt come with a cover that are on higher trim levels.

Holy crap!! I had no idea some RS's came without the center console armrest. Damn, they really meant bottom of line.
