Hey, I'm sure someone else has to have a similar problem, so post your solutions.

My interior hatch panels rattle, and I can't figure out a way to make them tighter to stop the rattling short of just gluing them in or with some big bolts or something.

Also, my driver's seat squeeks when I go over bumps. Could this be something that I could lubricate, or are all the springs and things inside the seat where I can't get to them?

Sorry for the vagueness; basically I just want to hear what others have done for similar problems. Thanks!

[edit] - Seems someone else had a similar problem - http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170347 . BTW my vibrations aren't stereo-related, just from bumps in the road.

I thought all of our cars were like this. Is it not supposed to be?? Also my car rides like shit, and theres plenty of road noise. Of course Im not expecting no lexus, so I just let it all slide. Is it not supposed to be like this?

Well when you modify your car, things aren't going to be the way they were stock, things are gonna rattle and shake, if you have lowered your car expect things to shake if you have stiff springs or what not. as for rattling, the stereo has alot to do with it if you like to rattle your brains out with bass. things will vibrate loose and rattle, the just comes with the territory.

get dynomat, and make sure everything's tight (that should solve the panels) as for the seat... make sure all the bolts are tight... basically just gotta snug everything up... if you have tighter than stock suspension, and low profile tires, you're going to get more road noise and vibrations, as the sidewalls of the tires usually absorb a lot of the vibration... and the less sidewall you have, the less dampening it can do...

Squeaks are always from surfaces rubbing. Cures can be talc, graphite, Door-Ease, WD-40 or other lubricants.
Rattles are loose parts, and affixing them to or separating them from whatever they're rattling against will stop it.
Resonances are fought by changing the modulus of the part- making it lighter or heavier.
And, spray foam like Great Stuff can be a charmer if you can track down where the rattle comes from. Unfortunately, and especially in the coccoon of a car cockpit, the noises tend to "throw" themselves. Best to have someone else drive while you go searching.

Thanks for the replies, I guess I'll just have to mess around with it and see what I can find.
