I'm sure that if you read through this entire thread then you'll know exactly what you need to get, along with exactly what you'll need to do.

you say "enterior" does that mean exterior or interior? im going to assume interior. go and pick out your paint color, and stickk to that same brand and color(like if you run out and need more) you will need sand paper, sand everything down as much as you was, if you want the smooth look to the the dash, just keep sanding tilll you are happy. i would just go with atleast a 220g. clean everything off(dust/paint) prime evrything. then do thin light coats untill you get full coverage. it it takes you 10 thin coats to cover it then so be it. better to have it come out good rather then being to wet and getting sticky on a hot day. then if you want to clear it, thats on you. i went with dupli-color rattle can from advanced auto. also if you like the stock black dash color/sheen. go with duplicolor semi-flat black. it has a little bit of shine to it just like stock. let all the paint dry for a couple days before you put it back together. there is nothing worse then painting all dam day and then scratching it all up putting it in. hope this helps you

hey CARGUY, i hope this helps at what im talking about. ok picture 1 is how the brackets come. the red dots are going to be the holes they have pre drilled for you and your seat. they wont line up with your seats at all. the green dots in picture 1 is where your holes on your seat will be.

picture 2 in red is the extra peices you will have to weld in. just make them about 1 inch wide and weld them in really good. the green dots are where you will have to drill your new holes. just measure to be sure of everything.

this is going to be the bst way to do it so you wont have to do it from scratch

hope it helps

Well i kinda disagree with Boostin95RST. You dont need to prime anything (there is not even primer made for this stuff that im aware of). Just get some wax/grease remover, Wipe everything down with it. Dont sand anything! Go buy some duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint for the dash(flat black for OEM-like finish). Apply thin coats to maintain the grain in the dash, I did about 4-5 coats and it took 1 1/2 cans. Now for the center console and all the plastic, Go pick up some krylon for plastic (also flat black) some thing as the dash 4-5 light coats. Wait a day or two and armor all everything you painted, If done rite it will look exactly like OEM. Look at my pics for example.

Hey car guy, I just checked your gallery and all I see is exterior shots of your car and 1 engine bay shot. Just wondering where the interior shots are?

Yeah i need to get em up in there i guess.... But for now Page 3 post #64 :thumb:

Thanks for telling me that. I painted my doors last summer and all I did was wash them with soap and water, then sprayed them. Stuck them back in the car the same day, it was about 95 degress outside. You can about imagine how they look now. I've been meaning to go back and do this the right way for some time, just needed a proper procedure to follow.
