Well my dash lights work when the key is off but when i turn the key they all turn off what could it be

Sounds like maybe a short somewhere. But I am not quite sure where to tell you to start looking (sorry). All the problems I've had with my interior lights were all from blown fuses. Which reminds me, you might want to have someone check your brake lights to make sure they come on when the car is running. Back when my lights went out in my gauge cluster it took me three weeks before someone pointed out that my brake lights didnt work. Then when I replaced the fuse for the brake lights.......the gauge lights came back on. I've noticed that there are several fuses that are working for more than one item so make sure and give them all a check if you think that may be the problem.
