hey guys, i had an interesting spoiler idea today. I currently have the factory 3 piece spoiler on my car but i have the turbo spoiler that I am planning to put on. My idea was that I could modify the turbo spoiler in order to flow nicely with the side pieces bolted to the actual back of the car. This would save me from removing those pieces and having the holes bondoed and painted over. I already drew some lines and planned it out and I think it will look good. Im pretty familiar with fiberglassing, so I dont think it will be a big deal. Has anyone tried this before? Tell me what you guys think. Thanks.

Someone's already done that, several times in fact. It looks alright from the back, but from any other angle it looks like ass. Just warning you ahead of time.... I just removed mine altogether, you can see it in my gallery.

The best look is wingless, but that's just my opinion.

What I'm gonna be doing on mine I guess could be classified as similar to that. I'm doing the Wings West Viper spoiler. It's an add-on spoiler for the n/t stock spoiler. It's kinda unique, I haven't seen any in person yet.

On that last pic...I have a pic on my phone of someone with something similar. But I think it was a GS with a GS spoiler and a GST sopiler over it.

Looked REALLY goofy.

But the one in that last pic is alright.

It doesn't look all that bad, but I prefer smaller wings if any at all.

But, the worst is the 1Ga Talon wings. They look and feel like sheet metal. I've seen a lot of DSMs that have small wings on them that look like they came off a cavalier or something like that. I've been meaning to ask the owners what kind of wing they are; because to me, they look more normal than the stock wings.

yea...i am planning to remove the center piece of the other spoiler, so its going to look clean. Ill post pics when im done.

haha thats nice... ill make it look like a nice "butt" then. Unless u show me this actual modification done i will still continue to believe it will look good.Ill show you guys when its done.

your either going to sit the turbo spoiler really far back or move those side pieces - which is something u dotn want to do anyway... the turbo wing curves up AND FORWARD.. the 3 piece low riser doesnt curve as far forward as the turbo so i dont think it can even be made to look like they "flow" together. as with the wingswest viper POS, that thing is complete ass. that is for the person who wants a turbo wing, but doesnt want to deal with fillin in holes. stick with the turbo spolier and just get rid of those side pieces. nothing is worse then half assed body mods  please just do it right

well thanx tunerkid for actually thinkin this one through. its gonna take a lil bit of work but it actually can be made to flow. yea ur right it will need to be a lil further back and the bulkier bottom of the turbo will need to be shaved a lil and be made a lil flatter to go with the other spoiler, but its no big deal. Also the pointy parts of the turbo that point towards the front will also need to be shaved to go with the side pieces. I guess it is kinda hard to imagine if you havent actually sat down and drawn lines around the turbo spoiler and matched it up with the other spoiler, but it will look good, jus trust me. ;)

whose stacking wings?u must not be talking to me... or maybe u just didnt read my posts.
