Intercooler setup

I'll make this short and sweet.
I bought a gst from a guy and he gave me all the pipes to setup the front mounted intercooler, however the kit is missing the pipe that bolts up to the throttle body.
SO could I still setup the intercooler with the OEM throttle body elbow? If it fits together would it even matter?
Or do I need that specific intercooler pipe to bolt onto the throttle body? thanks I'll try to upload photos later.

Yup, just make sure you have the right coupler to mate both together and you're good to go.

Yes it will work with very minimal if at all performance loss.

If it's a 1g the TB elbow is a restriction but you can get a 2g elbow for cheap.

Yup. It will work. The 1g tb adapter is more restricted than say 2.5 intercooler piping. If your not trying to break any records it would work just fine
