Hey, i'm not sure if this is the right place to post it, but I just need a quick yes or no answer for this one. My buddy has a 90 tsi awd with a galant vr4 jdm engine in it, and he was wondering if the side mounted intercooler piping from these engines is the same as the stock ones from 90-94 eclipses, talons, etc. I need to know because it seems like there is a really nice deal on eBay for hard intercooling pipes and he wants to get them. Thanks

This is the ebay link:

i know the usdm gvr4's have different intercooler piping..way different because it comes with the smallest frontmount known to man, stock.

also..if its going in an eclipse then it doesnt matter cuz the eclipse have side mounts...maybe im just misunderstanding you.

No, it would be going in a 90 tsi awd with the galant vr4 japan engine. I'm just talking about eclipses because in that ebay auction it says it is for 90-94 eclipses, but i'm just assuming it will fit in a talon too right?

They never made a galant vr4 with a sidemount intercooler. I would know, I have seen a JDM (right hand drive) and I won a stock galant vr4. The JDM vr4 has a larger FMIC than the USDM model.
