Intake to BOV tube broken.

Ok I my GST has a Greddy RS bov w/ recirc kit. But the tube that connects it to the snorkle is broke, it sticks outta the snorkle a bit. I'll post pictures in a bit. Is this a problem? it goes back in but then it won't attach to the BOV, and its not exactly tight. Should I just shove it back into the intake and vent the bov to that atmesophere and run rich for awhile until I can afford a new intake pipe? Or should I leave it alone?

I would leave it alone for now. Do you know if its leaking or not? does the tube actually come out or does i always stay in? If it isnt leaking I wouldnt worry about it too much. Eitherway I wouldnt vent.

You can get some Gorilla Glue and use it for that. I think the manufacturer's stuff they use to hold it is pretty much the same.

I can't tell if its leaking or not, its a little louder than i'd expect on blowoff, but maybe its just my imagination.

JB Weld might be able to fix that. That's pretty much what they use to keep the dump tube in the intake tube anyway. If there's not enough plastic tube left to JB Weld it, I would suggest going to Home Depot/Lowe's or whatever and finding a similarly sized PVC or ABS plastic tube to just totally replace the stock dump tube. If you scrape off the grey sealant on the tube, you can probably wiggle it out and take it with you for size comparison. Then find a pipe that's the same size or a bit smaller and JB weld that in its place.

I'd just buy an intake but if you don't have any money right now just use some JB weld.

Yah the dump tube is completly broken, thats what you see sticking out between the connector to the dump tube and the intake
