i doubt they could of removed the lines , because i clicked on the link and it shows the before and after and as you can see my the lines for E and A are still fully used, now i heard that the line for P , was not used on the 97-99 model so i stopped being concerned about that

Probably the lines to the EGR valve on the intake manifold which is under your throttle body or the EVAP canister under your battery tray. You will be surprised at how much crap with vacuum lines is down there. As for the 3 lines coming of the throttle body, yes your 97 should have 3 lines coming off the back. It was the 98-99 that had a different emissions setup (less then 3 lines) then the 95-97 models.

so i just remembered that a couple days ago while cleaning my engine bay i stumbled across turbo waste gate solenoid now it had both end of the line that it connected to cut, BUT itb was still connected to its power source you guys are probably right the previous owner probably did removed some of the lines . the problem is now i need to find out exactly what he did.

yes i seen several pictures of others here in the forum commenting on how confusing it can be underneath there. and im sorry i correct myself , while searching for the answer on this i came across that false information.

He probably just removed anything that was emission related and blocked off the EGR system by installing a block off plate. From the looks of which lines seem to be missing, I'd say it's emissions related.

looks like the lines that you're missing lead to the purge control valve and the check valve.
