intake manifold leaking

ok i was changing my throttle body and i might of stripped the thread on the manifold can i re thread it or what can i do i got a leak from there haha i cant gas it or it dies ? thanks

Ya you can rethread it just be really careful and take it really slowly so you don't crack anything.. But i don't know how a boost leak will cause you too not to be able to hit the gas at all unless its huge i think you might have another issue too the man..

Was it having the same problem before you took off the throttle body? Like scott90 said, its possible but would have to be a good size leak.

oh ok and no it wasn't doing it before but i sprayed it with soap and water ad i saw it was leaking real good from the throttle body and intake manifold and i have put sealant any times trying to stop the leak but im thinking it might be leaking from there because the crews are not grabbing so it maybe come loose when it pressures up because when i first turn it on after putting fresh sealant it doesn't surge till i give it gas so i mean i don't know ha-ha but ill try to re thread it and see or i might just have to buy a new manifold ha-ha thanks

i figured it might be it ha-ha ill try to delete that of my list tomorrow and see if it runs better when i adjust it ha-ha how many degrees is it suppose to be ?

Stock BTDC is 5 deg.

ok so i connected my laptop and check the dtc my ecu was trowing and it gave me Barometric malfunction and my Throttle position sensor malfunction what is the (BARO) ?

That adjust the ad and timing depending on how far above you are from sea level. Your car should run fine without this.

Baro.
Is you Maf Sensor,
Check the Maf to make sure is plug all the way in.
It might no be connected.

Make sure it clicks in.
