i know but there is a vacumm line that comes off the stock fuel rail to the intake manifold just woundering if i need it?

Ok, I know what you're talking about now. That's the vacuum line going to the stock FPR. Since you'll be disabling that, you don't need it anymore. Just connect a vac line to the new FPR.

does anyone have pics of their process of installing the port fueler?

i have a few
you can see on the last picture where i used russels superstock -6 fuel line also since i am using a -6 rail for the stock injectors there is no bottleneck

you will notice however that the line that connects the stock injector rail to the portfueler rail cannot go straight across.

the fitting are not even with each other so i had to improvise. still works well

ok now i understand where the fpr goes but i got an fmu unit with my star stage 2 turbo kit.

do i use that at all? thanks

No, you won't need it. The new fuel system will take care of all of your fuel needs.

anyone out there have pics of an obx intake manifold if u used one, only need one thing explained how u put your map sensor on? just drill a hole for it at the end of the manifold and stick it on? thanks

Yep, that's how it's done. Actually, you need to drill three holes; a large one flanked by two smaller ones for the bolts to hold it on.

do u think it is actually worth using, any advantages?

No. I would just polish or paint the stocker. Supposedly, many people revert back to the stock for high horsepower because they don't trust the welds on the OBX manifold. But I can't substantiate that; I've never used or seen an OBX manifold.

i was woundering if this is what the removal of the stock fpr looks like? thanks

That definitely looks like the stock FPR, but for the record, you can't "remove" it, otherwise all your fuel will spill out since there will be nothing to plug that end of the rail. You need to disable it by following Corbin's guide in the link I posted earlier.

if so i have an obx i will use i guess. now can i use one end of the rail for return line and the other line for feed? ### the stock rail both return and feed are at one end, but with the obx doesnt work like that. anyone got pics of diagram of obx rail install thanks

if you need a rail i have a spare 95 and a 96

pm me the one you need/want and its yours

id rather give you one than let you use the OBX one

Did you completely destroy the old FPR? It doesn't need to be functional, it just needs to plug the end of the rail.

Can you just get a rail from a 96+ 2gnt? I dont see why not. You wont have to deal with that clunky looking thing and it has a nice 4an return source on that size. Should be easy and cheap to find too. Or buy a good one for 120 bucks.

well heres the pic of the end of my rail where the fpr used to be
http://spaces.msn.com/cyrez187/photos/?_c02_owner=1 is it screwed up or supposed to look like that?
and i dont see the problem with using the obx, i just need to know if its ok to have one end coming in and return on other side going out.### the stock rail has coming in then return is just under it! thanks

It's ok to have the return and feed on different ends of the rail. That's how the 96+ style rails are. My only concern would be what baxsom was warning you about, proper fitment. If this one fits right, then I would say there's no problem using it.

just give me the address and its in the mail

It looks exactly as it would as if you had never touched it. The disabling modification is an internal thing, it doesn't look any different from the outside.
