So I got a 1G (1993) with a 6 bolt bottom end and a 2G head. What exactly are my options as far as MAFs/intakes go. I would prefer not running the 1g do to obvious reasons. I will not be running a SAFC because I will be tuning via DSMlink.



Also a side question, can I run he engine with a 14b and a FMIC with no tuning? (want to get it running stock first before slapping on the 50 trim). DSMlink will not be here where I fire the engine up, but I will have a pokcetlogger.

I would recommend a 2g mas. You won't overrun it unless you go insanely drag only size turbo. Gm maf seems to be hit or miss, seems like a miss on most dsm's and in my own experience, seems to need constant tuning on a lot of peoples cars. As far as 14b + fmic, no tuning really required, could probably lean it out a lil due to the cooler air but as long as you run stock injectors with stock mas it will run fine without a tune.
