I just installed a the Upper Innercooler pipe from dejon 2.5 inch I am currently using there 3 inch intake pipe as well. I am having problems keeping the intake as well as the filter and MAFS staying still. I have had to remove the box because it is getting in the way of the Innercooler pipe. So I am just running a exposed filter. When ever I get on it the pipe keeps popping off either the turbo or the MAFS. I have had to re direct the filter at a slant toward the light because the filter takes up to much space with the big 1g MAFS. I am using a some shop rags and some wood shims the wedge the whole thing in place but it is only a temp solution. Will switching to a 2g MAFS and a smaller filter such as the HKS style filter help with this problem??

How about building some brackets?

Heh, that was my next step but I cant find a place to mount them safely thats why I want to know if the 2g MAFS will take up less room. When I get home I will attach a pic and show you my predicament.

I got the Pics the red areas are where I am having problems

I had a Dejon tools intake for a 1g 16g with a 2g mass and when I first put it on it keep popping off at the turbo. No matter how tight you screw it down, it just kept poping off. My fix was to go to the local parts store and get a replacement tube that fit over the turbo and the filler tube, and make it a little longer and cut just a little around the BOV dump tube. All in all costed bout 6 bucks for 1ft peice of tubing. It just needed to be a little longer to give it a little flex room. After that I never had a problem again.

I must have the same Dejon intake you have. The design and fitment is total shit as far as I'm concerned, I will have to try what you did. Thanks! :thumb:

Well I have been drawing up some brackets designs but, I am leaning toward using some SS wire looped threw the exsisting bolt holes to hold it on place.
