Hey, i just sold my non turbo talon and got myself a 95 gst. Everything is running great. I just installed a hard pipe to replace the factory rubber intake connected to the MAS. I connected everything correctly along with my type s bov to vent back in. Now when i run my car with load under with full boost then let off the gas, my rmps drop way down almost causing it to die. I double checked if everything is connected tight and correctly. But still having that problem?? It did not do that before i change to the hard pipe.

This is the type of thing you would see w/o recirculating but the weird thing is that i am recirculating! Any idea's? I was thinking maybe its cuz it recirc's but the hard intake pipe is a lot larger which the normal about of air being vented is decreased because of all the extra space? any help would be great!

Why don't you put your stock setup back in and see if it still happens. Does your new pipe have all those little vacuum hook ups like the stock pipe?

Yeah it has all of the vacuum hook ups as the stock pipe, what could it be? And i can try to hook up the old one but if i find out its fine, then what then? Im pretty sure plenty DSMers have installed a hard pipe exactly like mine and have no problems?

I had no problem when I did the same upgrade. I have had stock dsm's have that problem though, but I never was bothered enough by it to check it any further. It might just be a bad isc that cant respond fast enough to rpm changes. :dsm:

CHeck your BOV isn't seized up or anything. What kind of noise does it make when it relieves the pressure?

I just went out there and did some adjusting with my bov. It seemed to get better the tighter i made the bov. New completely different sound. Not the high pitch "scching" any more. More of an airy sound instead. The tighter i made it, it seemed to get better.. but still bogged down some. I didnt tighten in too tight.. no flutter.. still clean air.. but not satisfied. Still bogs down to about 200-300 rmps. then back to normal idle. What else could this be?
btw, thanx for the input
