Hey, I'm eliminating my PCV valve, and i was going to replace it with that breather it connects to on the intake manifold. I had thought I read that they're the same threads, but not sure. Secondly, if i were go to say NAPA or something to order one of these what would I call it? Also could i plug the one on the intake manifold with a bolt, or just leave one on there and cap it? Suggestions? :talon:

Why are you doing that? It sounds like you're intentionally impairing your vehicle's function.

Also bumping threads will get your threads locked, especially if you're bumping them only 2 hours after you make them.

What you propose will not work well. This thread http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=229338&highlight=stupid+pcv has some of the best info I've seen, it's a long one but for good reason.

We all have our opinions yes i do agree the pcv system works great during idle, but under boost when it is needed I believe it is insufficient. 90% of people block off their EGR's so I dont see how I'm majorly changing the function of the car.

EGR is not PCV. Please read the supplied thread. It will change your mind about PCV systems. . .
