DSMBen said:I really only want liability and coverage on my car so if something happens i can get it fixed. Like if randomly a branch from a tree falls on my car or somthing, totally unlikley but i want the coverage.
I don't understand why guys have higher insurance, women are worse drivers

Guys have higher insurance because their more likely to race someone. I'm sure you'll be picking on Hondas when you find your car. We've all done something(show off) stupid at 16 when given a fast car... I'm sure you'll be no different
DAMN that is insane, that is full coverage right, I have full coverage on my 95 gsx 5spd and it is only 100 a month, liability is like 75. mind you i have a good student discount and my car is still a few years older but that does not seem like a good deal to me at all.eclipsegsx1736 said:I have USAA, and mine is $200 a month. USAA is MUCH cheaper than all the other companies, but a member of your family must be in the Military or previously enlisted. I guess they figure families involved in the military are more responsible...I decided to get full coverage since I park at school, but I do remember my car was in bracket 23/27 for cost to insure (likliness of crashing, and higher chance of seriously injuring the occupants). Makes you feel great, doesn't it?
No offense, seriously just call! It will the more accurate than what anyone is telling you what they pay.DSMBen said:Females, most atleast are more lilley to gey in dumb accident though. Like running your tires off the roads when your not paying attention, it drags you down into the shoulder and whip the wheel the other way and flip your car. Happens alot. Also, which sex uses cell phones during driving more?
But yeah, guys get a nice car and show off. So i understand the high insurance. I just want to know how high it is so i know wether or not to get an DSM.

DSMBen said:Well, I'm 16, hoping to get a DSM within the next month, and am seriously getting steered away because my dad is telling me the insurance will be CRAZY on them. So can abody tell me, from experience what the $$ per year increases, like by how much if at all.
I have AAA right now, covered under my parents vehicles (2003 Chevy truck, 2000 Bravada) but i know when i get my own car is when i will get nailed. Also, i have a B average so i will be getting the good grades discount, but I doubt the will make the cost more plesent.
