Life sucks, then you die. j/kWMD said:Ah, harsh reality. Just wait till you get older (for all you H.Schoolers) and it costs you 10-20k a year to go to school.Life sucks, then you die. j/k

DSMBen said:well i was expecting an increase to like 150 or something. but over 1 grand every 6 monhs seems crazy. That is me as the primairy though, if my mom who is 46 was primairy do you think it would go down?
DSMBen said:I look forward to college though. Money isn't going to be a problem.
I figure that schooling will cost about 120,000$
4 years of college, med school then residency and then you're making 200,000+ a year.
This is the same idea almost every kid who goes to verona has. Everybody wants to go to madison and do this or that. Ill tell you madison isnt a dreamland. You may have a class with a 1000 people in it and you never get to speek to the professor. Thats why i go to platteville, class sizes are about 30 people on average and you get to speek to the professor every day. I could have gone to madison, but didnt want to waste my money.

yes it would make a difference, most likely. what i tried to explain to you, and i guess i failed, was that 150/mo and 1000/6 mos isn't that different. 150/mo*6 = $900. not saying $100 isn't a major difference but comparitavely they're pretty close. basically, if you're gonna get a sports car you better be prepared to pay for it. i know that but i'm willing to get one anyway. the two cars im looking to buy are a civic and insurance is 939/6 mo full cvg, and a 91 gsx which is 977/6, so it sounds like your insurance co is right on target (i have geico).DSMBen said:well i was expecting an increase to like 150 or something. but over 1 grand every 6 monhs seems crazy. yea, i make about twice as much as you do, but how are you gonna pay for your car? thats why i had such a hard decision picking my next car. (which i've picked by the way, i jsut need the money for it.)DSMBen said:for the 3kgt is because i found a guy locally on ebay with one.
For the price of insurance, i would pay it, if it ment i could get the car i want yes i would pay it. The problem standing in my way is my parents (mom mostly) that doesn't think it's a good idea, that it's a waste to give the insurance company that much money.
I meen, i make around 130-150 every 2 weeks, so like 300 or so monthly. I could cover insurance, plus my parents will most likley help. It's just the problem i stated before.
Also, stay away from big name companies like Geico, Nationwide, Statefarm etc. They are good for people, like me not for individuals.
