I am sure someone on this forum must have a quick release hub/steering wheel setup and I need to know what size the spindle is. There are a couple different sizes like 5/8 and 3/4" listed but no reference as to which size for a DSM. Any help or point me in the right direction, I appreciate it. :)

According to the sparco webpage it just bolts to there Hub.

Also there hub is the exact same as MOMO's. I was thinking about getting a quick release this year.

But if I do it'll be after I finish the rest of my winter mods. Which is quite long and extensive.

WIll this work as the hub and also adds quick release to a Sparco Steering Wheel? Are all Sparco Wheels 6 screws?

"will this work"...you're gonna have to be more specific. who are you buying it from? who makes it? what car is it for?

um sure... will what work with what. But to have a quick release you need the hub from momo or sparco etc and you can get a quick release with the same bolt patter which goes inbetween the steering wheel and the hub.

Yes it will since you can see that the quick release as 2 configurations on the bolt patterns. I believe the sparco and momo have the same bolt pattern, dont qoute me on this, if I can remember right when I had my old teg that I had a momo wheel on a momo hub and bought a sparco one later on.

How the hell do these parts go together? Which part goes towards the steering column (I'm guessing the onbe with the black accordian), which part goes in the middle and which part goes attached to the Sparco steering wheel?

It'll be appearant when you pull your steering wheel off.. the smaller black rubber goes closest to the dash.. the 6 bolt pattern goes to the Sparco wheel.

You were right, it alll became clear once I got down to the install. I didn't use the gold ring in the first picture. I ended up removing the center cap off the quick realease ring so I could run the horn wire straight up to the button on the Sparco wheel.

The only issue I had was getting the Sparco Horn button to fit into the center hole of the piece that is attached to the wheel and locks into the quick release. I had to grind down the four lips it had to get it to fit (tightly).

Has anyone here used a quick release hub with their aftermarket steerinhg wheel. I was looking on ebay and I'm wondering whether or not those hubs would be alright. If anyone can let me know about them or what you have used. Let me know. Pics are welcome and links to wear you bought yours would be great too. Thanks guys!
