Im installing ARP's and have a few questions do you have to apply the moly lube to the threads that go into the block or just the top?Whats the allen whole for on the top if your supossed to screw them in with your finger?

Why do people screw them in before dropping on the head I tried but the head wouln't just drop on was scared that the threads might get messed if I wiggle it around or try to force it on.Cant you put them in after the head is on like you would do with the stock head bolts?

People seem to have no trouble installing one at a time when they dont want to pull the head.

Do not apply it to the threads that go down into the head, only apply it to the threads that receive the nut.

Take some pics and video if you can! I haven't been able to find a good, thorough breakdown of the entire process!

Don't mean to contradict anyone here. But I have always been under the impression and have been told to apply the moly lube to both ends of the bolt. Also on the washer and nut face themselves.
If anyone has anymore insight please chime in

just installed a set in my talon. I only applied the moly lube to the threads for the head nuts.

I have installed dozens of ARP stud kits. You HAVE to lube EVERY thread on the stud as well as the washer and the nut flange. When you tighten an ARP stud, it pulls from BOTH ends, not just the bottom like a bolt. That is what gives it the superior holding power. (Aside from 170,000-200,000 psi tensile strength:thumb:) I would also recommend only using their assembly lube. I bought the big bottle and use it on all my bolts. The 5mm hex on top is so that you dont get assembly lube all over your hands while making them "hand tight"
