Hey everyone! I'm in Toronto right now and getting a 3' turbo back exhaust soon from a private seller. I was wondering if anyone knows a good shop that can install it for me for a good price. Actually it'd be better if anyone here is willing to do it I wouldn't mind paying, it'd be a good chance to learn as I'm trying to learn as much as I can! Thanks! (Btw it's for a 2G 95 AWD TSI)

Can do it with two jack stands and a few wrenches. Grab a friend who knows how to turn a wrench and you'll learn plenty! If I can do it up in yellowknife, you'll have no problem in toronto

I second northernawd. It is crazy easy if the parts you buys are made well for the car. They literally bolt right up, the worst part is trying to get the old rusted system off. You can definitely save yourself a couple hundred and do it yourself! Good luck dude.

Alright thanks guys! The people here have definitely convinced me to do it myself. I posted this on another forum the Canadian part of this forum but I wasn't sure how active it was so i posted here too LOL my bad.

So to install would I just unbolt the, I think its downpipe, from the turbo from my stock system and then the rest down until the whole stock exhaust is off. Then reconnect the downpipe from the new exhaust and everything is pretty much straight forward? Like just put on the hanger, tightening bolts? I assume that's what it means by bolt-on, because the person that I'm getting it from said it would just "bolt-on". And also the exhaust I'm gonna get is all in one piece, is that gonna make it harder to install? I don't know how to paste pictures but the ad on kijiji is still up LOL. Not sure if I'm allowed to put it so I'll wait till someone tells me I'm good.

Does it come from the o2 housing or the downpipe? O2 housing comes out from the turbo and connects to your downpipe

One piece exhausts are harder to fit because it is hard to manuever one big ass long piece of metal under the car. And unless it is titanium it is going to be relatively heavy. In fact, I've never heard of a one piece that wasn't all titanium and $$$. The hardest part if getting the old one off, so blasting it with penetrating oil the night before and letting it sit is a good idea.

Oops I might have not understood what the downpipe was. In the pictures the tip, the beginning of the exhaust, is pointing upwards towards the turbo. It was confusing me because I was thinking that the pipe would not be able to connect to the turbo because of the angle it was in. So then does that mean that I will have to disconnect the stock exhaust from the O2 housing, not the turbo? And bolt it back up to the O2 housing? If this helps any, I'll try to explain what I think in letter form LOL.

So the turbo looks like this %.
And the O2 housing goes like this, looking from under the car r%
So the downpipe, and thus how to connect the front of the exhaust would be like this?~ r%

Sorry this might look like the worst diagram ever LOL

Really I don't see where it says its FWD. And also I asked the seller and he said it would fit mine and I asked to make sure it would fit AWD since most kijiji ads are for FWD sadly. I'll definitely check to make sure it'll fit though thanks for that point.
