Oshawa,
Alright, I'm changing my antenna on my 95 talon ESI from the stock 4 foot long one, to a nice 12" one, just wondering how do I go about taking out the old one? This one seems to just screw in where the other one was? But I don't know how to take out the stock one, any ideas ?

i also, am not certain about the 2g, but most cars are similar. first, you're going to want to remove the interior panel under the antena and unplug it. before you remove your stock antena, make sure the connections are the same for the old and new. if not, you're probably going to need a coupler or something [on my 1g, i needed a double female coupler]. then you need to unscrew old antena - probably with a 10 or 8mm closed-end wrench. depending on what kind of antena you got, you may need to ream the hole or even go a couple sizes up. if so, make sure you paint or seal the edge with something so it doesn't rust later. then install the new antena, plug it it, replace the interior panel, and away you go.
