I bought mine in November...when did this "change" take place?



It's only the initial cold start that mine has/had problems.
 
I think you'll hear the whinning more if you don't have the rear trunk board in there too. 20 bucks worth of dynomatting and I bet you'll barely hear it inside the car. Mine whines it's funny when a big block guy asks if its "blown" :p It was funny as hell!!!!
 
my walboro is also very loud but we cant really judge how loud they our off eachothers cars, i have a 2gawd so its in my backseat, while 1g fwd or others have the pump much farther away from the cockpit. My walboro is pretty old and after rewiring it, the pump has become alot louder and i feel it might be dieing out on me now, explaining my high throttle lean condition
 
mine is also a 2g awd. I just picked up a 1g rail and both a turbo and nt regulator so I'll give the rail and the nt regulator a shot and see if it helps with the overrun.
