Installed greddy bov and injen intake and lost power

I know I'm a newbie. I just wanted to get that out of the way.
Okay, I just recently installed dejon uicp and a greddy type s bov and an injen intake and it seems like I lost power. I went back through and tightened the clamps and made sure all the hoses were connected and everything was. What did I do wrong? The bov is tuned really soft but otherwise my boost was going sky high.
Any answers or things to check, please help.

Are you venting?

if you think its a boost leak, build a testor like on vfaq.com

if your bov is too soft, would it leak under boost do you think?

if you did in fact have a leak, your car would run a slight bit rich.

No it doesn't. It prevents back-pressure on the compressor and makes shifts much lighter. Venting back into the intake however is better than into atmosphere.

Back to the original poster- Double check your type s adjustment screw. They are notorious for stripping and you get a major boost leak. Thats what happend to me. I unscrewed the whole top assembly and there where strpped threads/peices of aluminum just sitting inside the bov. I had to retap a larger screw in it to hold boost.

I have all 3 tubes pluged in into the intake and recirculate the bov. I'm recirculating and the only thing I didn't reinstall was the uicp where it is bolted onto the throttle body. I will have to build a boost leak tester I guess. Well I need to get it running stronger though, its horrible having no power.
