Well today I decided to install my afpr and turned the fuel pressure up to 40psi. I am still running stock injectors and stock fuel pump. I haven't hooked up my safc2 yet... I dont know what to think, because it used to start easy and now its having a problem starting and the psi is only turned up a little. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone? I really desperate to find out the solution and get my car running like it used to.

My aeromotive afpr bleeds off pressure after you turn the car off. You either need to use a different afpr or the stock fpr. I just spin my car over once to energize the fp and build pressure. Then I hit the key a second time and it fires right up.

Just wondering... Is there anyone who rewires the pump so it will come on with the ignition instead of letting the cpu control when it comes on? FYI for whoever doesn't know, the pump comes on when the car is started, not when the key is turned on.

Actually the ECU only controls keeping the pump turned on. The starter circuit is what turns the pump on to begin with, which is why the pump doesn start running until you turn the key to start.
Wiring the pump to the ignition run position would defeat the safety feature of allowing the ECU to turn the pump off if the engine dies to reduce the risk of fire.
