Installation Cost??

Weel i just got my new Magnaflow muffler and i want to get it installed, i already have an aftermarket muffler if that makes any difference. seeing how i cant weld or know anyone who does i was wondering how much i should expect to pay to have it put on. i was quoted by a shop for $100 maybe theres more to it than i know, but that seems ridiculas to me. any help would be appreciated.

Most shops charge at least 60 dollars an hour for labor.

I wouldn't pay 100 to have a muffler cut off and a new one welded on.

i paid $30 bucks for mines at this local muffler shop in florida , $100 is a lot jus to install a muffler.. you should keep shopping around

shop around. dont hesitate to open up the good 'ol phone book and call EVERY muffler shop and get a quote. It really shouldn't cost any more than $40. It seriously takes them all of about 10 minutes or less to do thejob.

Had my muffler installed and a test pipe for $50

I had Midas chop the old one, weld on a new muffler and hangers for $75
