Finally done the tranny install and new mods. Had a 2gmas, 550s, afc, and evo16g, and race fmic. Now after all the work is done the new tre trans with vr4 1st, vpc, denso 660s, pte 50trim, sx afpr. Got the eprom chip coming soon and in the process of relocating my battey and putting in my wet kit that I traded for. Just need cams and a good head now. Cant wait to get insurance and drive it again. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions on installing any of this stuff let me know. Thanks

looking good hope to see u run in English Town the 23rd :) i wanna see how the time is going to be :)

I still got a little more installing to do and relocating the battery. Englishtown is alot more picky about being track legal then atco down here. Hoping to get a good time. I got to get tuned with the nitrous. I dont need any melted pistons.

your runnign a wet kit, why or how would you melt a piston. As long as you have the fuel pump to support the extra fuel needed then you should have no worries. And if your that paraniod put in one size larger fuel jet and you should be good to go.

On another note car looks like it has a solid setup nice job.

Im just trying to be safe. DsmJim suggested that I start out with a 35 shot in the nitrous side and a 50 shot jet in the fuel side to be safe so Im gonna start with that. I dont plan on having any problems I just want to be safe. For fuel and tunning I have a rewired Holley 255, Denso 660s, Vpc with 550 chip and afc wired in, sx afpr. I have the eprom chip coming with comp. for the 660s and 550 chip. I dont think fuel will be an issue I just want to be on the safe side.

Yea I just have a stock rebuild motor thats what scares me. I was debating puting on a 14b to get used to the nitrous but I dont know. I guess you could say im paranoid about using the nitrous. I havent had my car for 4 months and alot has changed to Im gonna make sure nothing bad happens again.

How long have you had the tial on the stock manifold? Has it held up well? I may be considering going that route when I uograde, although I need to run low 12's first.

The external is working great. Its only a 35mm but I never get creep at all. I picked it all up for $250 used. Worth the money.

How do u find the turbo lag? By what RPM can you see 15psi in a high gear like 4th?

Not sure yet havent got it out cause of no insurance. Probly gonna suck. I have a stock 1g o2 housing and press bent 2.5in dp. That needs to come off soon.

Nice stuff, well let us know how things work out once you get her on the road! I'm just curious about the turbo lag since one of my buddies has a similar turbo and he's having some late spool issues.

Oh another piece of advice, i have seen many a nitrous car blow up from having too little fuel in the tank. If you lose fuel pressure it's all over. Keep the tank around or above 1/4. Don't get into the 1/8th and less to save weight. Its not that much extra and I know guys who have blown up from that, espically on nitrous powered cars. Keep gas in it, use HP to make up times not less weight from less gas.

Looks like it's coming along very nicely. :thumb:

I just hate how big FMIC's for 1G's hang below the bumper, it's just asking to be dented.

Yea you can see on the pic of the fmic how the one support on the bottum is pushed back from a parking block. That pissed me off good LOL.

I think Im gonna put the fuel solenoid on the fire wall in the center and the nitrous one the side of the strut tower with a bracket since my battery is gone. Any other ideas are fine. Ill post up pics when its done.

I see that your running the nozzle in the tb elbow, I was going to put it there but it said it had to be 2-6 inches away. I probly wont run more than a 50 shot on my engine so is the tb elbow ok? My vpc intake temp sensor is there now so I was just gonna retap the hole for the nozzle and move the intake temp sensor back. Any problems with puddling running it that close? Setup looks nice. Where did you move all the shit that was one the firewall too?

-I'm running a 75 shot LOL!
-THe nozzle is like 2-3 inches away from tb, I put the nozzle as far as it can go just to be sure of that, it's running fine for now :thumb:
-This is my first setup after being N/A for 1 year...didn't mannaged to run it on the track because the SSautocrap piece of shit you see there cracked on me after 4 weeks. A friend of mine was selling his SCM61 with oem mannifold and well...thats what I had until now. I sold the scm61 and well...don't know what to get now...I'm leaning toward gt series..
...About the shit that goes on the fire wall...it just fits better on a trash can :rocks:

jdm laser.. what did you mount your bottle to? did you just drill holes and use nuts from under the car?

Yea I just messured to make sure i was next to the gas tank and I drilled holes. It was easy just dont miss with the holes it cam piss you off.

when you gonna spray that thing? and how much? im about to spray a 35shot on my 60-1 to get things moving sooner..
