Anybody have any Tips/Tricks on how to remove my input shaft sleeve? Last time I removed the transmission I found myself in this situation(LOOK AT PICS)
Transmission Input Shaft Sleeve is Warped?
So what I did to remove my OEM TOB I filed it down with a dremel, Installed a new ACT TOB -> YEA, I know now:
, but I was on a REALLY tight budget. Now that I have been so frustrated with shifting issues, I do recall that the ACT TOB unit had a lil bit of side to side play after install, not alot but enough to get me a little concerned now.
In a few weeks I will be dropping down this tranny once again for the third time in about 2 months
and oviously expect to find some bubu's, I just know it.
Here are the symptoms I'm experiencing:
1. Crappy Shifting
2. Clutch pedal chatter when pressed down halfways
3. After Long durations of highway speeds, once back in city, clutch pedal feels really bad, like if the TOB was bad.
Next time this tranny will go back in the car, oviously I will get a new OEM TOB!
Thanks in advanced.
