I have the dredded "rattling noise" in my tranny,...Got it diagnosed to bad input shaft bearings as new OEM TOB, clutch fork and fulcrum is in,...and clutch springs are still on the disc,..

So my question is,..

Anyone know what is the consequences of having bad input shaft bearings are? Will the tranny "explode" or will it cause bent shift forks, or other problems that would lead to more $$$,...etc? Ive read other DSMers driving their cars for years with no further probs but that rattiling noise going on,..

Im asking cause I dont have the funds to repair tranny right now, so Im gonna put my tranny back in so I can get my car operating again so I would be able to move my car in/out of the garage for more space. Till I get the funds to fix tranny,..

thanks
Kevin
