Ok so I have searched for the past hour and like always every thread has a different way to wire the damn thing and I just want to get one answer for once. Anyone know of the RIGHT writeup on how to wire it possibly with step by step procedures with pics? Also I need to know how to wire up my guage that I got. It is a titan guage that has 4 wires. The red and black which are power and ground and a purple and blue wire which I don't know what they are for. Please help. thanks
 
The oxygen sensor plugs into the harness that I got. I am needing to know how to wire up the 7 wires that come off of the harness. It is like a black, red, brown, blue, white green and another one I can't remember off the top of my head.
 
With pics i doubt it, i got one to instal this spring, and eventually run ecmlink. I would call innovative, they should be able to help.
 
Here is how mine is installed. I am setup to log the wideband in ECMlink.

Brown - ECU Pin 75 (white)
Red - Accessory power supply
Blue + white - Grounded using same crimp ring
Yellow - not used
Black - not used

If you plan to log the wideband, you'll need to use the LM Programmer software and reprogram the yellow wire (Analog Output #1) to output the same as the brown wire (Analog Output #2). This is because the yellow wire is set up from the factory to be used as a narrowband simulation (0-1v) instead of a wideband output (0-5v). Then you can put either wire to either location (ECU and gauge) since they both will be set to output a wideband source (0-5v).

The brown wire for you (if not logging) should be wired to the input of your gauge. I can't tell you off hand which that is, but if you provide me more info on it, I could probably find out.
 
Ya basically I just plan on using the gauge I got for monitoring so that means that I don't have to wire the brown wire to the ecu correct? And here is the link to the gauge I have. I just have that exact same gauge with those wires coming out of it.

Well, the website doesn't help out much, as there's no wiring diagram. You're correct that the brown wire from the LC-1 will not go to the ECU since you're not logging. So instead, this wire will go into the gauge.

If I had to guess, the blue is probably the input, with the black being ground, red being power, and purple being illumination. But it says it comes with instructions, so could you reference them for the wiring? Or if you're really unsure, take a picture or scan them in and post them up.
 
Sorry about that. But ya I am trying to contact the person i bought the gauge from so hopefully he gives me some directions on how to do it. But also I am going to wire it based on your thread above on which wire goes to which and I have a quick question. My harness has all of those wires but it also has a green wire. What is that used for? Nothing like the yellow and black?
 
Ok and the very last question that i have is where does the illumination wire go to from the gauge?

Saw this post and it almost answered all my questions but I still have a few and thought this might help others. I've got the Innovative LM1 with XD16 wideband and I'm using ECMLINK V2 to log and tune with. LM1 and XD16 seem to be working fine. I have output 1 running to XD16 and output 2 to pin 15 on DSM 1g ECU. The print screens below are from my LM1 programmer. What do I need to change on this? I'm a little confused on how I need to set this up. I've been using output1 to drive the XD16 for sometime now and it seems to run fine but it doesn't seem to match your 0-5V range. Are my numbers correct on either on output 2 or output 1? Also, how does this change if changing to E85? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

You sure you have the XD-16? That should not require either output (brown or yellow wires) to be run to it, but instead, a 2.5mm stereo cable to run from the LC-1 (serial OUT port) to the back of the gauge (serial IN port). There should also be a terminator plug in the serial IN port of the LC-1.

Then you'd just need to run the brown wire to the ECU and leave LM Programmer alone.

I do have the XD 16 and you are correct, I'm using the stereo jack. I hooked this up a while ago and was looking at Innovates wiring diagram.

I got everything working. I used output 2 (Brown) and spliced this into pin 15 (EGR Temp) of the ECU to get ECMLINK to read it. ECMLINK has instructions on how to capture this. V3 has the LC-1 already configured and ready to use. I then went and reprogrammed the LC-1 so that Output 1 matched Output 2. My last post showed that output was programmed from .1 to 1 volts which is used to simulate a narrow band. I changed this so that it went from 0 to 5 volts. I really didn't see any change on my wideband but I know now that what ECMLINK is reading is what is displaying on my wideband. Hope this helps anyone trying to set this up.
