Injectors Make Ticking Noise

Well i had a mechanic check my car out cause i started to hear a very light ticking and he said its coming from the injectors and he said its quit normal so i just want to be sure if this is true??

Its probably either that or you lifters. Its not a problem.

he said one of the o-rings might have hardend up so i plan on getting new o rings and reinstalling them and see if the ticking will go away if not then its definatly a lifter right???

Exactly, if you are concerned if it your lifters just add a bottle of lucus, if its your lifters tickin' it should go away, aslong as its not knocking.

Or a can of Engine Restore which always seems to work on dsm ticking.

I've tried that engine restore stuff before..It worked well for a while, then went back to the old lifter tick..Maybe I should try another can..

But it's probly just lifter tick..

so should i do another oild change and then add Engine Restore or should i just add it to the oil that i have now the oild is pretty clean the last time i did an oil change was last month

Add to oil now. Then after each oil change if you still have the ticking.

Injectors deffinately tick. No need for concern there.

As for lifter tick there are a few remedies, from a bottle of Lucas(1 bottle for a v8 engine,half a bottle for a four cylinder,I would do Lucas every other oil change)to 3rd generation litters. From what I've read there's really nothing that cures the problem 100% but a quick search will yield you alot of answers about lifter noise.

For months I couldn't get rid of lifter tick! I switched to Mobil 1 extended performance 10/30, the tick went away for life! That stuff is liquid gold

Also, just looked at your mods.. Don't replace o-rings, just wait till you need to upgrade injectors.
