i was wondering if my stock 450cc injectors would be good for a b16g turbo and a fmic. also have a maft and fpr.i have been trying to tune it but it keeps fuel cutting. everyone keeps telling me i need bigger injectors. and the other question, at what volts should my o2 be to be cool. i reading low knock and my friends where telling me i was running lean. other mods are full burchur exhaust, intake, 255fuel bump.

def dont tune off o2 voltage.I wouldnt run anything passed 16psi on pump gas till you get some 550s or even better 650/660s in the car.then you can have some real fun

i have a very simular setup because im breaking in my newly rebuild engine. i ran a log today just letting it idle trying to get it dialed in..

the lowest my o2 voltage was was .09 the highest it was .23 now i want ot know if this is normal.. im not trying to tune by it.. i have 0 knock and my the highest

now here is a example of one time when i just reved it
rpm: 2968 o2:.17 timeing: 34deg adv tps: 6.2% maf @ 69.1hz

now my question is does this sound somewhat normal.. ? tommrow im going to low a few decen runs and see what happens.

i emagin that your have a 2g because of your 440's? and he's right, you cant tune by 02's at least stock o2's. only wideband 02's! (2g have knock sensors, but they cant display them through the ecu, so when your logging/tunning, tune for timing advance, not 02's volts. the goal is to keep the timing advance stedaly liniar. the more the timing, the more the power) when your braking in a new fuel system, the logner you let the car idle the more corrections to the base fuel maps it'll do. the ecu is basicly a huge spreadsheat. it will eventually learn what its best air/fuel mixtures are at all rpms. thats why its never a good idea to disconnect the battery if you dont have to, becasue you'll loose all the ajusted fuel maps the ecu has made over time. but to answer your question, if you want to do anything at all with that turbo, you'll need to get larger injectores. depending on what your goals are, its hard to say what injectors to run. 550's are supper easy to dial in for baseline tunning, the larger your go, the harder it is to dial in, but of course the more fuel you can flow. i think a 255 is a slightly larger pump then you need for a simple 16g. if you go with the 255lp pump, your might need an aftermarket fpr, if you get the 255hp, you absolutly will need an aftermarket fpr. but if you go with the 190, you wont need one to correct the base pressure to compensate for the pump, or injector pulse. to simple things out for you, if you get a 16g, & fmic, and dont want to go big! just get the 550's, get the 190, and tune it with the safc2 & logger.
