Injector spewing fuel

Hi, I just got done with an engine rebuild 3 days ago. Everything was running perfect and no leaks until last night. I was driving and noticed a gas smell. I looked under the hood and noticed an injector was leaking so i replaced all the injector insulators. The o rings on top of the injectors are also new. The #2 injector is spewing fuel like crazy out and down the intake manifold. I took off the electical connector on the top and there was also fuel leaking out of the electrical connector. This all started all of a sudden while driving one night. The fuel was sitting in the tank for 6 months with no stabil. I filled up the other half of the tank with fresh gas the first day. I was thinking maybe the injector became partially clogged and is now leaking out of other places in the injector. The engine also feels as if it is misfiring but did not before the fuel leak. Any ideas of suggestions?

Cracked injector body, or you have injector seals leaking its that simple.

What kind of injector is it?
If it's leaking out of the electrical connector you better take it out and replace it ASAP.

its just a stock injector. The only thing i dont understand is why it wasnt doing it the first few days and it started leaking like this without warning.

If you have already changed 0 ring seals and there still is a leak then the injector housing itself may be cracked or damaged in some way and may need replacing. Make sure that the o rings are seated properly and pay close attention to the one that seals at the rail. If this is pinched it can cause a nasty leak! Good luck!
