HEY EVERYONE HOWS IT GOING. WELL I FINALLY GOT MY U BENDS IN THE MAIL SO I WAS GONNA START DOING MY PIPING FOR MY LIL STARION INNER COOLER :cry: I ALSO HAVE THE SET UP FOR MAFT MY QUESTION I WANNA GET BIGGER INJECTORS SO HOW BIG SHOULD I GO.
MODS
16G BOOST SET AT 15
SAFC
STARION FRONT MOUNT
HARD UPPER AND LOWER PIPE OF COURSE
MAFT 3"
NON E PROM ECU BUT SHOULD BE GETTING IT SHORTLY
3" EXHAUST ALL THE WAY BACK


THIS IS MY DAILY DRIVER AND WOULD LIKE TO LEAVE IT AS SO.
SO WHAT SIZE INJECTORS WOULD YOU GUYS SUGGEST.

at nothing much more than 15 psi and a daily driver that you don't intend to get a bigger turbo for 550cc injectors should be fine. Some people will say go with 660 but if you are running only 15 psi on a daily driver 550cc should be good. You can find more if you search :thumb:

WELL THAT IS WHAT I AM RUNNING WITH MY CURRENT SET UP BUT OF COUSE WE ALL WANT TO TURN UP THE BOOST JUST WANT IT TO BE AT A SAFE LEVEL YOU KNOW. DONT WANNA LEAN OUT OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. LATTER IN THE FUTURE ILL PROBABLY WANNA GET A BIGGER TURBO BUT THE 16G IS GOOD FOR NOW...
 
Learn to not use the caps LOL. Anyway 550's will be more than enough for your setup. Even at 20-22psi you will have room to tune with the 550's. Good Luck
 
Turn off caps



If you are going to get a bigger turbo later on get bigger injectors now so you dont need to buy them 2 times.

Who knows how big you will go in the future so I dont know what to tell you.
 
sorry about the caps im at work and the system we use here has to be in all caps... :thumb:
i was thinking i could go with like some 660 of so and tune it with the maft and fine tune with the safc
 
Hey thank that sound like an answer i was looking for. With the maft can i use it with the 510 that i currenly have. I already hit fuel cut at about 5500 which really sucks. Shold i set it for the 450 as well ????

Only after you get your EPROM ECU and a chip to correct for the larger injectors. Without that you need to compensate for the injectors with either the MAFT or the SAFC.

The first thing to check whenever your hitting fuel cut is for boost leaks to make sure that the air the MAF/MAFT/VPC is metering really goes to the cylinders.

sounds good ill do a leak test this weekend. Like i said gonna hopefully put on the starion front mount this weekend and see how it goes from there. It should be ok to put on the maft with the 510 thought right

Sure. If you car is tuned using the SAFC for the 510cc injectors then set the MAFT for stock injectors or set the MAFT for the 510s and zero out the SAFC. Don't set both to correct.

what size injectors would be good for a tdo6 20g????
