I did a little research on this subject. I am getting ready to buy fuel injectors. I really don't know what size injectors to get. My setup is a 2.3 liters stroker, fmic, walbro 255,to4b-vtrim,full 3" exhuast,avc-r boost controller,gm maf. I am getting ready to buy fpr and keydive chip so thats why I need to know what size injectors I can buy. I noticed on the stage 3 chip you can get injector compensation. Which would be like runnning a stock setup but with bigger injectors. So my question is how big of injectors can I go with out getting dsm link,if the chip is set to run with a selected size injector I wouldn't need any type of s-afc of dsm link correct?Any info would be great. Thanks.

All ECU software solutions (EPROM Chips, DSMLink) modify the section of the ECU code where the injector size is used to calculate the time to open the injectors for the current engine load. This allows supporting just about any injector sizes currently available. Given that the ECU isn't a factor like it is when using a piggyback tuning device (S-AFC or MAFT) you should choose your injector size based on expected HP from the engine and program the chip for them.

You need to do a little more research until you understand what the trade offs are or just go buy some big ass injectors, hope you get a good matched set that idles well and call it a day.

My 1000cc FIC injectors and MANY other's idle like stock. . . there have been definate idle issues w/ 1600cc injectors... Both supply fuel for far more airflow than what your v-trim turbo can deliver.

My hp goals are between 450-500 at the crank. I have heard different people running 660's and making 400 whp. I don't know how true that is but I just want to size an injector for that turbo or maybe if I want to go a little bigger turbo down the road(not in the near furture). Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the help.

I'd just go for 1000s. cost is negligible, gives you more room to expand, i haven't noticed any down sides.

I actually had nearly that exact same setup on this car, except with 750cc injectors. From experience, I'd say 850's minimum but preferably whatever you can get to idle correctly (1000, 1150, etc.)

They all cost around the same, and they will all idle like stock if properly tuned, so get the largest injectors you can afford, with the exception of the 1600's.
