ok, so my car started runnning rough yesterday, missing pretty bad. checked it out and found out that injector #1 is not firing. swapped out my injectors and still had the same problem. got my wiring diagrams and went through it. tried swapping an ecu. no difference. with a test light i checked each injector plug. each has a pulsing ground signal ( which comes from the ecu, i believe ) and a constant power. injector one has the pulsing ground but no power. used an ohm meter and tested the injector plugs. got the same on 2-3-4, but 1 is way off. so i went back to the wiring diagram. the mpi control relay supplies power to a resistor, which in turn supplies the power to the injectors. the ecu controls the ground which pulses, hence the injectors pulsing. so i believe my problem to be the resistor. problem is, i dont have the slightest clue where it is?!! can someone help me out here? i have the test procedure to test it but when i searched both here and google among other sites, i dont know where its located. need my car, its my only way around. please help!
