Injector Plugs

so i was out messin around in the bay today and noticed that one of my injector plugs was completely off the injector. now im not sure if it happened while i was screwing around or if it happened before that but it got me to thinking. I decided to see how easily these plugs came free of their injectors and 3/4 of them pulled right off with little effort. this has me worried a bit as it would seem they could just come loose at any moment without warning. I'm wondering if this is normal/common or if i should glue/tape/bondo those damn clips on there. any help would be great. this is on my 2G

It's common for them to break. Fuel Injector Connectors


Just as a note, all four of mine are loose on the injectors. I have not had one come off in 20,000 miles of driving though.

Thanks. I saw the How-To on replacing them, I was just curious if them being that loose was going to cause problems. It really takes no force to pull the plugs off.

haha. DSM90, i read your tutorial just a bit ago and it looks to be a fairly simple fix. I'm afraid they're going to pop off during driving so looks like i'll be ordering some connectors.
