Injector leak

If a fuel injector did not have a good seal into the ehad, would it leak fuel, or would it sound like air coming out?

depending on how bad the seal is, it will leak gas but if its a small leak it will be a ver atomized mist, but if the seal is pretty ruptured gas wil start trkling down the head and catch on the intake manifold.

You'd get mostly air coming out under boost...maybe a bit of a fuel smell. The larger liquid particles would get tossed into the engine by the passing air.

I have a leaking sound around that area, nevernoticed it until I installed the 650's.
Just trying to track it down.
