Fuel Injector boost leak

Hey guys, I took my intake manifold off yesterday and cleaned it out. I put it all back together and decided to do a BLT on the Intake mani to make sure everything is sealed up properly and found a huge boost leak on the lower injector seal to cylinder #3. I pulled the injector and the seal was still plyable so I put a bit of grease on the seal and reinstalled it, same problem. I replaced these seals last year so I would think they should all still be fine. Am I doing something wrong?

I fixed the problem. Even after switching the injectors around I still had a leak at the same injector. What I ended up doing is putting a small rubber O-ring between the top rubber "spacer" and the injector to create a tighter seal at the bottem.

I am having this problem after brand new lower seals. They don't seem to be sealing against the head. I have tried actual seals and gromments I found off the site that fit but still not sealing.

Make sure that when you put the seal on the bottom of the injector you lube it up just a bit. And do the same for the head. If this is still a problem check the head where the seal fits into. There may be dirt or debris in it causing a bad seal.

I had a bad seal due to dirt in the area .. and I didn't really lube it as well as I should have and rolled a seal. I would pull it and check the seals .. even new ones can be defective

if you want a slightly bigger upper seal you can use a honda seal to between the rail and injector base. it will give you an extra 3mm to work with roughly.
