I have 3 connectors that look the same, and 1 different, is this normal in a 2g?
The different looking connector has 3 wires the others have 2.

No it’s not normal in a 2g. First picture has a safety clip. Only three things have safety clips. The TPS, MDP and the VSS.

The 2nd picture is an injector plug.

The TPS is 4 wire and the VSS should be far away and contain a yellow wire. I’m assuming your first picture is the MDP plug.

Think you need to find your 4th injector plug.

MDP connector has Green/Black in pin 1, Black in pin 2 and Green/Yellow in pin 3 so that looks like a good match.
TPS has Green/Yellow, Brown/Red, Yellow/Red, and Black. No Green/Black so that's not it.
VSS has Black/White, Black, and Yellow. The later versions might be 4 pin but the early are 3 pin, so not this either.

Thank you , I really like that thread. My initial thought was this connector was spliced into the wrong wiring since i seem to have some of that going on from the previous owner.
Here is an example, I believe this is for the 1G CAS, but I'm unsure what the other 2 wires are that's not connected to anything.

You can see those are the power/ground from the 2g cas connector. Ugh I cringe when I see butt connectors used on critical wiring like this.
