inconsistant idle

I'm having an idle problem with my 91 Eclipse. It's a 2.0 non turbo. It isn't a constant problem, it comes and goes. What it does when it acts up is hunts for an idle speed almost like it's trying to stall but doesn't bog down that low. It quits if i let the clutch out to the point it almost grabs and doesn't have any other problems with acceleration or lack of power and has no DTC codes in it. Any suggestions to where to turn would reayy help and be greatly appriciated. Thanks

Hey You can look in to your ISC, your FIAV or TPS may be off a bit. GoodLuck.

Is your Idle set right? My will do that if my idle was to high(1100) and it hits 1500 and drops down to 1000 and cycles , only when the clutch was in and i was moving. Yours problem sounds more like a ICS or TPS.

Never thought to check the throttle position sensor, thanks for the suggestion, if I opened my eyes more often I would have seen the wire wasn't on. Typical me, but idling perfect now, thank you for the help.
