it would only power up when i would hold a finger on one of the buttons, as soon as i let it go, it would lose power. the one time it stayed on it ran like shit, i went through the menu to find it was in 6 cyl, then it shut off again, failing to ever come back on w/o my finger holding a button. oh well, i have a new one thanks to mike. thanks again!

yes, I can pm you the instructions if you would like to have the PDF files, or apex I has the instruction and directions files as well on their home page. It sounds to me like your safc went bad if your having to hold down the button, but not sure unless diagnosed... However, Mike is a great guy, and has bailed me out in the past as well...
