In-line fuel pump to intank??

I wasnt sure where to post this so if it needs to be moved sorry. ....my friend reciently purchased a 97 gst with some mods, not too much done but enough, 16g, 550s, intake, 3in exhaust etc. Here is my question though, he has an "inline" fuel pump which to my understanding is he still has the stock one but this one sits up front pumping the fuel faster, i guess. Its set up on a switch..So he wants to get rid of the setup like that. I can see his pump, its right where the battery is located by the fuel filter, so i guess its no different then an intank i'm just curious to see if i can just remove that and swap it out with the intank. Sorry if its a dumb question, it has me all confused ...thanx

your question has me all confused too. what exactly is it that you want to do?

LoL, sometimes it hard to explain the situation and what i want to do. I just want to remove the inline pump and wanted to know how it would be done. Can i use the pump used for the inline or do i need another pump? has anyone installed an inline pump and can that be explained so i can look at the steps when installing to uninstall....hmm, i think thats it.
